I had a birthday party that I intended to cook for but got so wrapped up in planning that I needed to find some last minute catering. I called up Soulful Foods at around 4pm and asked for 40 piece wings, 20 piece fish, and a pan of macaroni and rice and peas to be picked up at 7pm. Not ONLY did they accommodate my order last minute, but they also threw in extra food! They were extremely nice and prompt and my guests loved the meal. It was absolutely amazing, there was no food left LOL! I'm grateful for their hospitality, promptness, and service. I live in the area and order personal plates, and the service translates just the same. Grateful to them!

I have a love for oxtail and this place makes it so delicious that I refuse to get it elsewhere. On average, I visit this place every other week. And the lady boss is very nice too.
Well what a pleasant surprise some of the best fresh soul food I have had in years in bklyn. Portions were awesome food was not. Soulful egg roll was tasty and well prepared. Can't say enough about this gem of a place. Salute. Definitely would order again
